Many thanks, Suzonne. I saw their bathroom in a magazine years ago and clipped it out...lovely to see the house in it's entirety. There's a part of me that would love to decorate our home in a similar fashion...but alas, it's post modern architecture balks at the prospect. I always enjoy your blog and follow you on Pinterest. Thanks again.

Beautiful. These photos make me want to take off my shoes, put on a white linen slip dress, and wander around with a cold drink in my hand. In the immortal words of Liz Lemon, "I want to go to there."

I enjoyed reading your post about collecting magazine images over the years. It struck a cord with me and helps validate my compulsion to collect images. That might sound funny but I really mean it. It might be time to go through some of the pictures I've collected and consider what the common denominator is. As much as I love to do that, it throws me into a stupor - color, shape, design, atmosphere. I don't suffer from insomnia from it; I usually get kinda grumpy because my reality doesn't match my fantasy. I live in a lovingly restored old log house, in the woods. Your pictures of Mary's house(s) are inspiring.
