I have so many pieces of furniture waiting for a makeover that this book would be perfect! Perfect I say! Fingers crossed....

Elisabeth Lyons

I just inherited a sewing table from the 70's from my grandmother. Its not solid wood, just a veneer and I would love to spice it up.

Christy Keyton

I would love to learn more about stenciling! Looks like a GREAT book!

Heather K McManamy

Oh my goodness. I could SO use this book! I'm an equine photographer, and I'm in the middle of the terrifying process of changing my entire business around to accommodate my need to provide hand-made items to my clients rather than mass-produced products from a lab. I've started working with image transfers, liquid photo emulsion, and am in the process of refinishing a collection of frames for a small exhibit at a local coffee shop. My goal is to produce furniture items for my clients with their own images on them, satisfying my ever-increasing need to make unique things and their desire for one-of-a-kind art and furniture pieces. This book would go a long way toward that education!

Katie Boutte

I'd love a copy of the book. As a poor college student I am always surfing the thrift shops for up cycles. I also helped friends with their makeovers.

Rita Mireles

thank you for the opportunity! and I would love how to get that darn paper to stick to a large surface of my item. I can getit on small pieces but I need to know the trick to larger areas!! :)

Honestly I have so many things to makeover and no ideas! This would be great!

I want to make over some vintage pieces. The wood has already been stripped off by previous owners and now just needs so loving attention. Would love to get some ideas from the book. Thanks!

Leslie Stocker

I'd love to know Barbs opinion of Chalk Paint and when and how she chooses to use it, if she does.

Mandy Loescher

I am always on the look out for new ideas and techniques this book looks like just the inspiration I need!!

I've recently started exploring milk paint, and would love to learn tips and fresh approaches!

Apart from my boyfriend's dressers, I'd like to makeover my old desk I was given when I was 7... It has been repainted in the past, but I'd like to learn more about the professional process, so I could make it better and prettier. Thank you for this opportunity to win, it's fun! :)

Kari M.

I'd love to win the book. I have a dining room table that desperately needs a makeover.

I have 2 thrown away chairs I need to up cycle...paint is definitely in my future! Could use some inspiration!

I have a large chest of drawers that was my husbands grandmother's. It has large clusters of carved grapes for handles and is a dark varnish that is very ratty. It has potential, but I don't even know where to start...... (2 small drawers on top with a smaller inset marble top)

what to do?????

Kathy Bastine

I found a Demi Luna side table at a thrift shop and I love it, but it needs a paint job. Its three legs are curved and have carved hooves for feet. I would love to paint it with a mustard yellow milk paint with a slightly distressed look.

Emily R.

I bought a chunky, black painted desk from Goodwill a couple of years ago. Then I acquired most of the necessary tools to make it over last Christmas. It's still patiently waiting a facelift, but I've yet to figure out a plan for it!
