M, I have not substituted for corn syrup before, so I can't tell you if this is a "good" substitute, but what seems to come up the most often is Golden Syrup. I've seen it in the grocery before and I suspect it has the same thickening agent as corn syrup. I'd see if you can find that.


What is a good alternative to using corn syrup? (I'm allergic to corn.)

They look absolutely delicious. Some refresh their kitchen new decorations for the change of season, I say refresh your kitchen with the smell of snickerdoodle cookies.
