I have long had dreams of improving my embroidery skills. Admittedly, it hasn't happened yet, but I may have found just the motivation I need. I stumbled onto this wonderful Swedish book, first published in 1966. It's an amazing compendium of stitching technique and lettering in a wide variety of styles, almost all of which I find appealing. It's a great addition for the stitcher's library, as well as useful inspiration for designers who like to work with typography. Should you happen to see a copy of this book in a used bookstore, snap it up. (Amazon may occasionally have it as well, though the one copy they're selling today is available for $999.98(!!!).
